The American Indian Catholic Outreach (AICO) evangelizes and re-evangelizes the American Indian people by spreading the message and teachings of Jesus Christ through powwows and other functions. It celebrates American Indian cultures and spiritual traditions within the context of the Catholic Church, and seeks to build strong relationships between American Indian people and the Catholic Church. It seeks to promote mutual participation within our American Indian communities and the Church, and promote ongoing growth and renewed conversion through catechesis and reconciliation.
