The Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine is seeking an associate director of development to assist with all aspects of fundraising and donor relations, including fundraising programs and services for the Shrine, major gift cultivation and solicitation, direct mail, annual appeals, donor events, database management, planned giving, endowment funding and grant writing. The successful candidate will serve as advisor to the senior managing consultant – development in matters of development, stewardship, and fundraising. The associate director of development will form a collaborative working relationship with pastors, parish leaders, chancery staff and potential donors, to identify and cultivate gift prospects for capital campaigns, special projects and programs of the Shrine, and assist with the preparation and submission of grant proposals. The Archdiocese of Oklahoma City is seeking a people-oriented receptionist to greet callers and guests at the Catholic Pastoral Center, and to assist the Secretariat for Stewardship and Development with clerical activities. The receptionist will direct callers to the appropriate staff member or department, provide callers with information such as directions to the building and issue visitor badges. When ninth grade students at Cristo Rey OKC Catholic High School filled the hallways as the inaugural class in 2018, a bell system had not yet been installed. School staff stood in the hallway and rang a bell by hand to signal class changes and dismissal times.
