The Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine invites the community to a series of events celebrating the Feast Day of Oklahoma's own Blessed Stanley Rother, taking place from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28. This weekend is packed with activities that honor the legacy of Blessed Stanley Rother and offer opportunities for prayer, community gathering and healing.
• Kendra Scott fundraising event: Kick off the weekend on Friday, July 26, with a special shopping event at Kendra Scott on Classen Curve from 4 to 6 p.m., or online from July 26 to Aug. 2. A portion of the proceeds will support the shrine.
• Evening prayer: Reflect and pray during a bilingual Evening Prayer service at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 26. Join the commemoration of the life and martyrdom of Blessed Stanley Rother.
• Community health fair and blood drive: On Saturday, July 27, contribute to the well-being of the community with a blood drive and health fair. Donations can save lives.
• Rosary for peace: Gather to pray a Rosary for Peace on Saturday, July 27, bringing intentions for peace and healing in the world.
• Book signing with Maria Ruiz Scaperlanda: On Sunday, July 28, meet Maria Ruiz Scaperlanda, author of "The Shepherd Who Didn't Run," the official biography of Blessed Stanley Rother.
• Weekend Masses: Participate in the spiritual life of the shrine with the regular Saturday night (5 p.m. English) and Sunday Masses (9 a.m. English, 11 a.m. Spanish, 1 p.m. Spanish, 6 p.m. Spanish), offering a perfect moment for reflection and worship to celebrate the Feast Day of Blessed Stanley Rother.

The Feast Day itself is every July 28: the anniversary of Blessed Stanley Rother's martyrdom in the very parish where he served as a missionary for 13 years.
