Catholic homeschoolers will gather June 9-10 for the virtual conference: “Cultivating holiness in your homeschool.”
Homeschool Connections, a provider of on-line classes both live and recorded for more than a decade, are hosting the Catholic Homeschool Conference.
Maureen Wittmann and Walter Crawford, co-directors of Homeschool Connections, are committed to helping Catholic homeschoolers get everything they need to enrich their families.
Homeschooling has seen a dramatic rise in popularity over the past few years, due in part to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is estimated there are more than 3 million homeschoolers nationwide – many of which are Catholic.
While in-person conferences are making a return, an online format brings its own benefits. It not only reduces the costs for all involved but allows families from anywhere attend and participate via conference meet-ups. With no travel required, parents can watch together, and friend groups can plan watch parties.
Greg and Lisa Popcak, well-known Catholic radio hosts and authors, will be the keynote speakers, with the talk: “How to be a more loving, connected, caring and Catholic homeschool Family.”
Father Joseph Gill, Jennifer Macintosh and other homeschool speakers are scheduled for live events. An additional 20-plus recorded talks will be made available for attendees to choose from.
A fully interactive vendor area is accessible throughout the event with scheduled live access to such sponsors as Franciscan University, Ignatius Press, Fiat Life Coaching and more than 20 more exhibitors. Every attendee will also receive access to the content for a year, giving them an opportunity to see everything available when it is most convenient.
