Catholic War Veterans recognized Vietnam-era veterans on March 10. The non-post members recognized were Charles Erwin, Dave Jobe and Tom Strotman. Post members recognized were Roger Thibeault, Ken Provost, Tony Wangler, Margie Tisdel, Sid Howard, Ronald Sandhop, Joe Cashes Jr. and Ralph Gosselin. Each were given a pin and a handout detailing the meaning of the pin. All U. S. veterans who served on active duty from Nov. 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975, regardless of location, and surviving spouses, can be awarded a lapel pin. Pins are provided by the U.S. Vietnam War Commemoration Commission. Catholic War Veterans Post 168 requested and was made a partner organization to identify and award pins.
