The Center of Family Love has announced the return of the multimillion-dollar Gift of Love Gala, celebrating 43 years of creating new possibilities by empowering those with developmental disabilities.
This year’s gala will be held June 15 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
At the heart of this year’s event, the residents of the Center of Family Love (CFL) will take center stage, hosting the gala and showcasing their talents and abilities. The evening promises to be a testament to the love and support the community provides, making a lifetime of care possible for individuals, entirely free of charge.
This year’s Gift of Love Gala features a celebration of the development of the new facility to excel as the premier organization in educating, training and placing individuals with developmental disabilities in challenging and rewarding environments, while developing potential and preparing them for life. It aims to accommodate a variety of skill sets, particularly for individuals with cognitive variances across different sectors.
"Your presence and support make all this possible, allowing us to continue providing a nurturing environment where individuals can discover and develop their unique talents,” said Debbie Espinosa, president and CEO of Center of Family Love.
“We are determined to give our residents with different abilities the support and opportunities to spread their wings and discover gifts and talents within themselves. This will allow them to acquire and develop the skills necessary to make their dreams come true for themselves, and to those who will conquer disabilities in the generations to come.”
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour, raffle drawings and a live auction. Dancing and live entertainment will be provided by Wade Tower and the residents of CFL.
Tickets are available at $250 per person and sponsorship opportunities starting at $3,000 are still available. To purchase tickets or be a supporting sponsor, contact Kim Kuehn at [email protected].
