Center of Family Love to host annual Backyard Block Party

OKARCHE, Okla. - The Center of Family Love Teen Board members are hosting their annual Backyard Block Party from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25 at the Center of Family Love located in Okarche just 20 minutes west of Oklahoma City. The Block Party is a celebration for the centers residents. 

The Block Party is an event for the whole family. There will be a DJ on hand, along with a bouncy house, corn hole, firetrucks, dunk tank, pie in the face booth, bead table, duck pond and so much more. The Bondi Bowl food truck will be here along with the Nixxen Rayne mobile boutique. The center sends a special thank you to their top-tier sponsors Jake Coughlan, Looker Land Company and Teocalli Exploration LLC. 

Tickets to the Block Party are $5 for students 18 and under and $10 for adults. People can also purchase t-shirts for $20. Visit centeroffamilylove.org/blockparty to preorder a t-shirt and ticket to the event. 

“The block party is my favorite event because I love to see the community coming together to raise money for our amazing charity, and I love the joy it brings the residents!” said Laney Liebl, CFL Teen Board president.  “I love the Center of Family Love because it is an organization dedicated to giving the very best care and opportunities to the most genuine people in the world, true NexGen Heroes.” 

For nearly 41-plus years, the Center of Family Love has been assisting their residents to conquer disabilities. The proceeds for the block party will benefit the 130 adults who call the Center of Family Love their home.

“Without the support of our community and friends we could not provide the 24-hour specialized care needed for our residents.” said CEO of the Center of Family Love, Debbie Espinosa. “This block party is an amazing outreach effort by our Teen Board members, and we are so touched by their dedication to help our residents.”
