Coordinator of youth ministry - Edmond

St. John the Baptist in Edmond is currently seeking a fulltime coordinator of youth ministry to be responsible for establishing a robust post-confirmation middle school youth ministry in the parish and school (7-8 grades) and building on the small faith group communities in the high school youth ministry program (9- 12 grades). Must be an active and intentional disciple-maker who will form young people in their Catholic identity through peer relationships; as well as recognize, support and equip parents as the primary witnesses of the faith. Must be Eucharist-centered and have an active prayer life; be an experienced and engaging public speaker; have excellent organizational and leadership skills; ability to be flexible in high-paced environments; able to recruit, form and shepherd adult and youth leaders. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. Degree in theology, religious education or related field is preferred.
