POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Admissions is primarily responsible for recruiting students to apply to the school, directing the admissions process from point of inquiry to enrollment, as well as supervising staff and volunteers for admission events. This position will also manage the Office of Admissions.

Essential Duties: • Designs and implements a comprehensive strategic plan of admissions of new students.
• Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the school’s goals and objectives.
• Evaluates continually and redesigns where appropriate all aspects of the admissions program with the goal of maintaining a capacity enrollment of qualified students and a waitlist of qualified applicants.
• Represents the school at conferences and to the local community for events related to admissions.
• Active member of the school leadership team.
• Attends Board meetings and provides reports to board members on the status of the admissions process.
• Provides input to marketing materials, ads, mailings, web pages, and publications related to admissions and that promote the school to prospective students.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with Catholic feeder schools, local public and charter middle schools, churches, and other organizations that can be helpful in attracting qualified students.
• Presents the school to parents and students during visits to middle schools, churches, and organizations, or through media placements.
• Initiates and oversees recruitment activities, such as Open Houses, Applicant Days and Shadow Days, intended to interest parents in enrolling students to the school, which are frequently in the evenings and on weekends.
• Attends parish events, community events, and festivals, etc.
• Manages the Student Ambassador program.
• Develops, continuously evaluates, and revises the student application and relevant processes.
• With Admissions staff organizes student interviews, including training faculty and staff who will assist with conducting admissions interviews.
• Chairs meetings of the Admissions Committee.
• Organizes and administers third-party income verification software and program for student financial aid.
• Leads communication with students and parents throughout the admissions process.
• Communicates final admissions decisions to all applicants.
• Ensures enrollment packets are prepared and distributed with the Registrar’s Office.
• Organizes student registration meetings.
• Coordinates all communication with families regarding next steps for enrollment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a Full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00a-5:00; regular nights and weekends for recruitment events with some travel around the OKC area are required. Hours and work shift may change in accordance with business needs. Exempt employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require.
Required Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in education or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of admissions administration experience.
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, PDF, Email, Applicant Tracking Systems, Zoom/Google Meet/Cisco Webex.
Preferred Education and Experience
Education: Master’s Degree
