With a unanimous recommendation of the search committee and the director of Catholic education, Father William Novak announced the hiring of Jenny Lang as the sixth principal of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School in Edmond, effective immediately.
Lang served as interim principal the past three months, after stints as an assistant principal and second-grade teacher at the school. She is a parishioner of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, a faithful Catholic committed to Catholic education.
“We are fortunate to have her as our next principal,” said Father Novak, “she will help advance the mission of our school, rooted in Jesus Christ, and will provide an excellent education for all students.”
Lang is seen as passionate about supporting students, families and staff and said she looks forward to a positive future for the school community. SEAS has been her home both personally and professionally the past 10 years. Her children began school at SEAS in 2016 and she began as a second-grade teacher in 2020. She explains her work in Catholic education as a “calling.”
An all-school Mass was celebrated on March 27 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church and a special blessing was offered to Lang during the Mass.
