This is part of a series to introduce the seminarians of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
What is your home parish? My home parish is Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Oklahoma City.
What seminary do you attend? I am currently doing a pastoral year at Christ the King Catholic Church in Oklahoma City.
If it is God’s will, what year will you be ordained a priest? I should be ordained in 2025.
What advice would you give to someone discerning a call to the priesthood? My advice to anyone discerning a call to the priesthood would be to make sure you are praying about it. Talk to someone about it and strive for holiness in all that you do.
What do you look forward to most about becoming a priest? I look forward to hearing confessions.
Name one thing that every Catholic needs to know. Mother Theresa said we are called upon not to be successful, but to be faithful. This is so true. The Lord loves each of us more than we could ever know. It doesn’t matter what we have done.
Why choose a life of sacrificial love? Any life worth living is a life of sacrificial love! The only way to truly be happy is to love like Christ.
