This is part of a series to introduce the seminarians of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
What is your home parish? My home parish is Saint John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon.
What seminary do you attend? I am currently studying philosophy as a sophomore at Conception Seminary College.
If it is God’s will, what year will you be ordained a priest? If it is God's will, I will be ordained a priest in 2027.
What advice would you give to someone discerning a call to the priesthood? My advice to anyone discerning the priesthood is to always listen to what the Lord calls you to do, no matter what it may be. Your journey to the Lord is filled with many small “yeses” along the way, not just one decision to follow him.
What do you look forward to most about becoming a priest? What I look forward to most about being a priest is to be able to administer the Sacraments of Healing and bringing more souls into the state of grace the Lord calls us to.
Name one thing that every Catholic needs to know. Sometimes the Lord allows us to be tested in order to draw us closer to him. Do not be afraid of trials and hardships, but instead use it as a time to grow in your relationship with him.
Why choose a life of sacrificial love? A life of sacrificial love is a life that most closely reflects the life of our Lord!
