St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Norman presents “St. Thomas More TALKS,” at 7 p.m. each Thursday during September in the parish hall. It is a series of adult education presentations aimed at strengthening the parish's spiritual formation.
On Sept. 9, Fr. Jim Goins spoke about scripture verses every Catholic should know in order to strengthen and defend the Catholic faith.
On Sept. 16, Alex Sanchez, campus minister, will talk about the virtue of Hope and its role in winning souls for Christ.
On Sept. 23, Casey Partridge, director of Family Faith Formation, will talk about creating a culture of evangelization.
On Sept. 30, Nolan Riley, music director, will talk about the role of music and liturgy in the formation of faith.
Another round of TALKS will be planned for Advent. St. Thomas More Catholic Church is located at 1535 Jenkins Ave. in Norman.
