Location:Bl. Stanley Rother Shrine - S. 89 and Shields Boulevard
The Our Lady of Guadalupe festivities at the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine are quickly approaching! Below are some details on times and parking on Sunday, Dec. 11:
Gates to the shrine are opened to the public at 10 a.m., and the public is able to park in the shrine campus parking lots. Once parking at the shrine is full, parking will be available Crossroads Church and Frontline Church along 89th Street. Parking attendants will be on-site to assist with guiding guests.
Parking at Crossroads will open at 10 a.m. They have allowed the shrine to use a portion of their parking spaces. Shuttle busses will begin taking guests from Crossroads back and forth from the shrine at that time as well.
Parking at Frontline will open at 11:30 a.m. They have allowed the shrine to use a portion of their parking spaces. There will be officers assisting pedestrians cross the street from Frontline to the shrine.
Worship aids, a map and other materials for the day will be available online at rothershrine.org/tepeyac-hill or by scanning a QR code on signs which will be posted around the shrine campus. There will be outdoor restrooms and there will not be any public access to the shrine church or the pilgrim center.
A Rosary will begin at 12:30 p.m. and Mass will begin at 1 p.m.
Be sure to check the weather this weekend and dress accordingly! If there is rain before the event, there will be mud and soft sod around the campus and the great lawn. We recommend walking on the sidewalks and other hard surfaces.
This will be an exciting day honoring Our Lady and participating in the first Mass celebrated on the campus of the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine.
On Monday, Las Mañanitas will begin in front of Tepeyac Hill at 5 a.m. There will be pan dulce, coffee and hot chocolate following the music.
