Archbishop Coakley’s new pastoral letter, “Go Make Disciples! Building a Culture of Conversion and Discipleship for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City,” was released on Jan. 25, the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul.
The letter, in English and Spanish, provides an overall guide for the archdiocese for the next 12 years. The pastoral letter will be followed by more specific plans every few years that will help create priorities for parishes, schools, clergy and laypeople.
Archbishop Coakley and chancery staff have organized several listening sessions to provide feedback that will refine the priorities and help implement them. Listening sessions will be in Guymon, Clinton, Enid, Lawton, Ardmore and Oklahoma City.
