May 17, 2022The Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine is seeking an associate director of development to assist with all aspects of fundraising and donor relations, including fundraising programs and services for the Shrine, major gift cultivation and solicitation, direct mail, annual appeals, donor events, database management, planned giving, endowment funding and grant writing. The successful candidate will serve as advisor to the senior managing consultant – development in matters of development, stewardship, and fundraising. The associate director of development will form a collaborative working relationship with pastors, parish leaders, chancery staff and potential donors, to identify and cultivate gift prospects for capital campaigns, special projects and programs of the Shrine, and assist with the preparation and submission of grant proposals. Must have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, public relations or possess general experience in a comparable position, a minimum three years of development experience and be an active, practicing Catholic in good standing.
