Christ the King Catholic School honored Brian Smith as the 2022 Christ the King School Distinguished Graduate.
Smith is a 2001 graduate of Christ the King Catholic School and continues to be active in the church community. He serves as the director of parish engagement for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, assisting parishes with serving the poor and most vulnerable in their communities.
After Smith graduated from Christ the King, he attended Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School and then earned a degree from the University of Kansas in 2010.
Smith is an active parishioner at Christ the King Catholic Church, serving in several roles, including as a member of the confirmation team and the ACTS small groups and retreat teams, and by providing faith formation opportunities for school faculty.
He also is a board member at The Dale Rogers Training Center and volunteers on the Catholic Charities USA National Parish Social Ministry Team.
