February 5, 2025As the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City embarks on the Jubilee Year, all Catholics are invited to embrace a renewed commitment to faith, generosity, and service. This year’s Annual Catholic Appeal theme, “Faith in Action,” calls us to actively live out our faith and support the essential ministries that strengthen the archdiocesan community.
Through the Annual Catholic Appeal, we all have the opportunity to put our faith into action by supporting ministries that directly impact the lives of thousands across central and western Oklahoma. Gifts to the appeal sustain and grow the mission of the Church, fostering the love of Christ in our parishes, schools and communities.
Your generosity to the appeal helps fund:
• Care for retired priests who have dedicated their lives to serving our faith communities.
• Evangelization and discipleship programs that inspire Catholics of all ages to grow deeper in faith.
• Catholic Schools and campus ministries, forming the next generation of confident and faithful Catholics.
• Outreach efforts to advance the cause for canonization of Blessed Stanley Rother, whose witness continues to inspire us to live our faith courageously.
• Hispanic ministries helping parishes, communities and ecclesial movements to grow in their faith formation through workshops and conferences.
• Marriage and family life ministries that strengthen relationships and faith within our homes.
• Vocation ministries that nurture and prepare future priests to shepherd the faithful.
During this Jubilee Year, Archbishop Coakley invites every Catholic in the archdiocese to prayerfully consider how they can participate in this year’s appeal.
“The Annual Catholic Appeal allows us to put our faith into action, ensuring that essential ministries continue to serve and transform lives,” Archbishop Coakley said. “Each gift sustains and grows the works of our Church, fostering the love of Christ throughout our communities.”
Last year, 8,300 generous families contributed to the advancement of the mission of the Church. This year, as we celebrate this special time of grace, all are encouraged to discern how God is calling you to contribute to the growth of the Church.
