Christi Jeffreys, director of development at the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine, has been nominated for an Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the Oklahoma chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Jeffreys has been nominated for her exceptional contributions to the field of philanthropy, including her work at the shrine and at Catholic Charities among other roles spanning 19 years of experience. She has raised more than $68 million for local nonprofits.
“I am deeply honored to be nominated for this award,” Jeffreys said. “Fundraising goes beyond just collecting funds, it’s about forging meaningful relationships and creating a lasting, positive impact on our community.
“I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my colleagues and the remarkable organizations I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with over the years.”
Awards will be presented during the National Philanthropy Day event, scheduled for 11:30 a.m., Nov. 7, at Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
