Lawton parish uses “fun-raising” to fund raise

When parishioners at Holy Family in Lawton needed to pay down parish debt, they got together went to work and raised about $1,800. 
 
The money was raised through a fundraiser held Nov. 3. A few children from the parish – Cecilia, Mira and Helena Nioce and Catherine, Cecilia and Jude Young – shared their love for the faith and their love for dance and performing, entertaining family and friends with their latest production during a dinner theater fundraiser.
 
Also participating were the Ladies Guild, Spiritual Life Committee, Knights of Columbus, the young adults group, Ballroom Dance Group and Challenge girls.
 
Helping to celebrate was Father Phil Seeton, pastor of Holy Family.
