Mercy opens new hospital in south Oklahoma City

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City South recently opened with a six-story, 228,000-square-foot facility that includes 36 hospital beds with build-out options as patient volume grows. 

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City South is located at Interstate 240 and Sooner Road on the campus of Oklahoma Heart Hospital South. The new hospital is licensed under Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City and offers ambulatory care, low trauma, inpatient care and advanced surgical capability.

The $150-million project includes outpatient X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI and mammography as well as inpatient pharmacy, inpatient and outpatient surgery, inpatient and outpatient GI - endoscopy (internal imaging camera) suites, a cancer clinic, cancer infusion, lab draw and a chapel.

Screening and visitor limitations continue in the new hospital as well as masking requirements.
