OKARCHE – The Center of Family Love is offering more career opportunities for individuals with disabilities beginning this National Disability Employment Awareness Month in October.
“Our Filters for Life business is expanding, and we are thrilled to extend life-changing career opportunities to even more of our residents and to individuals with disabilities that live at home with their families,” said Debbie Espinosa, CEO of the center.
The Filters for Life vocational program provides full-time careers that involve building heat and air filters. New corporate partnerships with Filters for Life will open an additional 20-40 full-time positions and even more part-time positions for CFL residents and individuals living with disabilities in surrounding communities.
“Everyone should be given the opportunity to work,” Espinosa said. “Our priority is to empower those with disabilities to gain independence and to have pride in their careers. We are so grateful for the countless people who have gone before us to make these dreams a reality.”
