Opening Rite of the 2025 Jubilee Year

Everyone from around the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City is invited to join in as the 2025 Jubilee Year begins on Christmas Eve 2024 and ends on Jan. 6, 2026.

The theme of this jubilee is Pilgrims of Hope.

United with dioceses around the world, the solemn Opening Rite of the Jubilee Year will begin at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 29 in the Connor Center at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3214 N. Lake Ave. in Oklahoma City, with the reading of the Papal Bull and a solemn procession into the cathedral with the symbol of hope, the crucifix. The Mass for the beginning of the Jubilee Year will follow at 10 a.m., celebrated by Archbishop Coakley.
