Men interested in the archdiocesan Permanent Diaconate Formation Program are invited to begin the application process. The multi-phase formation process spans five years, and is designed for formation in the human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral dimensions.
• Applications for the Deacon Formation Class of 2030 will be available beginning Feb. 15.
• Men interested in applying to Permanent Diaconate Formation are to ask their pastor to request an application on their behalf.
• Pastors request an application via e-mail to [email protected] with the name, e-mail address, and cell phone number of the applicant.
• Criteria for applicants include:
o Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church for at least the past five years and active in his parish.
o At least 35 years of age by November 2030.
o If married, in a stable, sacramental marriage for at least the past five years.
• The deadline for receiving applications is May 1.
