February 1, 2024Men interested in the archdiocesan Permanent Diaconate Formation Program are invited to begin the application process. The multi-phase formation process spans five years, and is designed for formation in the human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral dimensions.
• Applications for the Deacon Formation Class of 2030 will be available beginning Feb. 15.
• Men interested in applying to Permanent Diaconate Formation are to ask their pastor to request an application on their behalf.
• Pastors request an application via e-mail to [email protected] with the name, e-mail address, and cell phone number of the applicant.
• Criteria for applicants include:o Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church for at least the past five years and active in his parish.o At least 35 years of age by November 2030.o If married, in a stable, sacramental marriage for at least the past five years.• The deadline for receiving applications is May 1.
