August 22, 2018The Healing House recently opened in Crescent, 30 miles north of Oklahoma City.
The facility is available for people to stay who want a chance to spend quiet time with the Lord. It is a home recently updated with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which provide a comfortable and safe place with meals available. Advance arrangements for meals required. There is a kitchen and a large living area and dining area.
Silence is the common activity for most weeks. One weekend a month a program is offered:1st weekend – Women’s silent retreat with spiritual direction, if desired;
2nd weekend – Men’s silent retreat with spiritual direction available;
3rd weekend – Directed retreat with facilitator addressing various topics;
4th weekend – Facility available for small groups needing a gathering space.
Priests welcome from Sunday evening through Thursday evening.
