The Center of Family Love (CFL) will feature the the Teen Board Block Party event, marking a day of celebration, inclusive community engagement and fun for all ages, set for March 30.
The community is invited to come together in support of residents and participate in an array of activities.
The Teen Board of CFL is steering this initiative, demonstrating their leadership and compassion towards their cause. The Block Party will feature local food trucks, live music, face painting, outdoor games and more. This is a chance for members of the community to learn more about the individuals at CFL and to see firsthand the impact of combined efforts in enhancing their daily experiences.
"Bringing the community together for a day of joy and unity reflects the very essence of what we strive to achieve," commented Debbie Espinosa, president and CEO of CFL. "The Teen Board’s enthusiasm and dedication to organizing this event shines a light on the positivity that the younger generation brings to philanthropy and community building."
The Block Party promises not only to be a day of merrymaking but also an opportunity to raise funds that contribute to the ongoing mission of CFL – to provide love, care and meaningful opportunities to residents. Each ticket sold and donation made during this event moves the center closer to creating a nurturing environment.
The Teen Board Block Party is open to all and is a family-friendly event. The event is from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the CFL grounds in Okarche. All proceeds from the event will directly support the Center of Family Love. Find more details at cflinc.org/blockparty.
