OKLAHOMA CITY - El Arzobispo Coakley anunció 21 de enero la incorporación del padre Marvin Leven a la lista de sacerdotes que han tenido una acusación comprobada de abuso de un menor. Leven, de 95 años, está retirado del ministerio activo.

Uno de los milagros de Jesús, un milagro que luego conectará su generosidad amorosa con su presencia real en la Eucaristía, fue tan memorable que aparece en cada uno de los Evangelios. Aquí está el milagro que compartió Juan el Evangelista en el ricamente eucarístico capítulo 6 de su Evangelio:

OKLAHOMA CITY – Archbishop Coakley announced Jan. 21 the addition of Father Marvin Leven to the list of priests who have had a substantiated allegation of abuse of a minor. Leven, 95, is retired from active ministry.

As this past year ended and the new year began, I found myself reflecting a lot on the many blessings God has brought into my life. For some reason this year, the transition hit me more than in the past. I’m not sure why this one had more force. I must be getting old! It also may be that I have spent the past couple of years helping with the Vision 2030 plan for the archdiocese – my whole focus has been on planning 10 years out.

One of Jesus’ miracles, a miracle that later will connect his loving generosity with his real presence in the Eucharist, was so memorable that it appears in each one of the Gospels. Here is that miracle as shared by John the Evangelist in the richly eucharistic Ch. 6 of his Gospel:
