Catholic in Recovery meetings are at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays in the Meerschaert House, second floor, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1901 N.W. 18 St. in Oklahoma City.

As part of the centennial celebration of The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help there will be a series of tours given by parishioners. The cathedral is located at 3214 N. Lake Ave. in Oklahoma City.

The Knights of Columbus Council 1018 in Shawnee will host a bingo night on Oct. 11 in the Benedict Center of Saint Benedict Church, 632 N Kickapoo. Parishioners and non-parishioners are welcome. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m, with food service available at 5:45 p.m. Games will begin at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $10, which includes 10 games and two blackout games. Players can win cash and other prizes. An added highlight for the evening will a raffle drawing for a 58-inch TV. Proceeds will go toward funding various projects the Shawnee council participates and supports.

The Enid Catholic community will host the Our Lady of Fatima pilgrimage walk and rosary on Oct. 12. The walk in from St. Francis Xavior Catholic Church in Enid to the Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Bison. The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help's 100-year anniversary will be celebrated with a Mass at 4 p.m. Oct. 13 at the cathedral, 3214 N. Lake Avenue. Following Mass is a gala dinner at 6 p.m. at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club, 7000 N.W. Grand Blvd. Tickets are $50 per person. Seating is limited. Catholic single men, ages 18-45, are invited Oct. 18-20 to learn more about monastic life at St. Gregory's Abbey in Shawnee. During this time, attendees will share in the liturgical prayer, lectio divina, common work and communal life of the abbey and life as a monk. While these encounters are primarily intended for those discerning a religious vocation, they are still of spiritual benefit to those yearning to know God's still, small voice amidst life's chaos. The Knights of Columbus council at St. Eugene Catholic Church in Oklahoma City is hosting a dinner at 6 p.m. Oct. 22 at Grand House Asian Bistro, 2701 N. Classen.
