The Secretariat for Evangelization and Catechesis exists to serve the Catholic Church’s primary mission of preparing her members to be missionary disciples. The work with which we have been entrusted is a share in the mission and vocation of our local Shepherd, Archbishop Paul Coakley, principle teacher of the faith in the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. The privilege and solemn mission with which we are entrusted is commensurate with the Great Commission: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Mt 28:19)
