A letter from Father Brian Buettner, Director of Vocations
Throughout our faith journey, God continues to call us by name. In the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, we are blessed to have 18 men who have accepted Christ's invitation to an intimate firendship with him, listening to and discerning the call to the priesthood. This journey is only possible through your prayers, encouragement and financial support.
We all want to thank and support these fine men for their courageous "yes" and their openness to the call to be a priest. So, I want to write to ask two things: First, that you and your family pray daily the prayer for vocations to the priesthood. Our prayers absolutely do make a difference.
Second, please take time to consider joining the Living Faith Society with a monthly gift of $34 per month. Members of the Living Faith Society make automatic monthly gifts and receive regular updates about our seminarians. No gift is too small. Please prayerfully consider giving something.
The apostle John recounts the call of the first disciples: "What are you looking for? Come and see." This is fulfilled at every Mass when Jesus gives the faithful His own body, blood, soul, and divinity to nourish our souls. This cannot happen without priests and the Eucharist.

From the desk of the Archbishop
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
"Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink." John 6:54-55
As the Church continues its path for Eucharistic Revival, 17 seminarians of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City are discerning their vocation during seminary formation. They look forward to the day when they will be able to celebrate Holy Mass and the Pascal Mystery of the Eucharist.
Your prayers and support are an encouragement to me and to the young men discerning their vocation. Your sacrificial gifts make it possible for men to answer God't call to service without burdensome financial barriers. Please prayerfully consider supporting seminarians and future priests of the archdiocese by joining the Living Faith Society with a monthly gift.
