Counseling sessions are based on the 50-minute hour*.
Crisis Counseling
For individuals and families experiencing life changing events, i.e. sudden death or illness, alcoholism/drug addiction, sexual abuse, violence, trauma, etc. as well as marriage and family issues.
Ongoing Counseling
For individuals, couples, families to address and resolve relationship issues; strengthen communications, problem solving and coping skills; to heal from past abuse; to cope with stress, depression, anxiety, etc.

St. John's Counseling Center is located across from the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School playground.

St. John Catholic Church Support Groups
CODEPENDENTS ANONYMOUS (CoDA) A 12-Step fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is to develop healthy and loving relationships and to support and share with each other in a journey of self-discovery and healing. CODA meets at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday evening and every Saturday at 11 a.m. Call Sherry at (405) 315-7559. There is also a codependents support group that meets at the church. SURVIVORS' SUPPORT GROUP A support group for those who have lost someone to suicide. A simple gathering in a caring atmosphere, offering ways to cope and remember loved ones. CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY & GAMBLING — A CHANCE TO CHANGE Meets on Mondays, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 3031 NW 64, off May Avenue, Oklahoma City. New programs for individuals with gambling problems and employee assistance programs are now available. Call (405) 840-9000.
WIDOWED OR DIVORCED The opportunity to find help dealing with the natural grief process is available through the Beginning Experience weekend. MENTAL HEALTH Edmond Support Group for depression, bipolar, and related conditions meets every Saturday, 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Edmond Public Library, at 10 S. Boulevard. We have been there … we understand.

A support group for those who have lost someone to suicide meets at St. Francis in Oklahoma City on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Meerschaert House located just north of the church building. The gathering is in a caring atmosphere to remember loved ones. Call (405) 528-0485.
Every September, there is a Mass held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for those who have lost someone to suicide. It is a time to gather and pray for our loved ones, comfort one another, and find hope and healing in the mercy and love of God.
Catholic Charities offers a wide range of counseling services in English and Spanish to help those dealing with such issues, providing ways to cope with problems and overcome them. We provide professional counseling to allow opportunities for therapeutic change and growth with an atmosphere of acceptance and caring in alignment with Catholic Social Teachings.
We offer short-term counseling, up to six sessions at $20 per session, for individuals, families, and couples in Oklahoma City and select rural communities
